Getting There

Access to Lake Pleiad requires a moderate hike through forested trails that test your sense of adventure. From Middlebury, follow Route 125 east for about 8 miles until you reach the Snow Bowl. Continue past the entrance 0.7 miles to a small parking area near the Long Trail intersection. From there, a 10-minute hike south leads directly to the lake’s edge. Parking is limited, so plan accordingly.

You’ll find refreshing cold waters ideal for dipping, embraced by a calm atmosphere rarely disturbed by crowds.
