What to Expect

Tips for Visitors
Plan your visit in summer when the weather makes the cold spring water more inviting. Bring sturdy shoes for the hike and pack out all trash, as the site is primitive and carries a small $3 fee. Since parking is limited and the trail can be uneven, arriving early can help you secure a spot and enjoy a peaceful experience.
